After it’s hailing baby news among our friends, we become organizational talents for hosting babyshowers. As a America fan I use this tradition of “Babyshower” with great excitement for many years here in Germany. And it shoes over and over again, that even here the expectant mom is thrilled to spend a day with herbest friends and full of surprises.

In USA längst ein Pflichttermin für werdende Mamis ist die Babyshower. Was hierzulande anfangs noch müde belächelt wurde, bringt mittlerweile alle bald Mamis außer Rand und Band. Die letzte Babyshower, die ich mit Freundinnen (Männer sind natürlich nicht erlaubt;-)) für eine Freundin organisiert habe, war ein voller Erfolg.
Der Fantasie sind dabei keine Grenzen gesetzt, es wird geschmückt, gebacken und gebastelt was das Zeug hält und wir hatten schon im Vorfeld einen riesen Spaß. Der werdenden Mutter soll auf diese Weise ein schöner Tag bereitet werden und sie bekommt schon einmal vorab ein paar nützliche Dinge geschenkt.
Da meine Freundin ein Mädchen erwartete, griffen wir bei der Deko natürlich auf rosa zurück und auch die Geschenke zeigen eine klare Tendenz in Richtung Mädchenfarben.
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, entspannten und fröhlichen Mädelstag. Ich freue mich schon auf die nächste Babyshower.
